Short Bio

Sofia Lima (SL) graduated in Microbiology, completed a MSc in Biotechnology by De Montfort University (UK) and hold a PhD in Chemistry (UPorto). Currently, SL is an assistant researcher, under Institutional Call to Scientific Employment Stimulus (Inst-CEEC, 2022) at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS, UPorto), and an integrated member of the LAQV-REQUIMTE. SL was awarded with an assistant researcher position in the Individual CEEC (2019) and with a principal researcher position in Individual CEEC (2022).
