Short Bio

I am an interdisciplinary researcher and epidemiologist with a dual background in veterinary medicine and public health. My research intersects with the areas of global health security and tropical medicine. I have more than 15 years experience promoting One Health approaches, with an emphasis on capacity building and implementation, particularly in the African context. I am currently based at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where I hold a joint appointment.
