Short Bio

I am a Consultant Veterinary Microbiologist with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, where I serve as the One Health Focal Person. I am also a Research Associate Fellow at the Centre for Control and Prevention of Zoonoses (CCPZ), University of Ibadan. My core responsibilities include the surveillance of emerging and re-emerging zoonotic and infectious diseases, with active involvement in both field and laboratory epidemiology. I have a strong professional interest in antimicrobial resistance, particularly in strengthening antimicrobial surveillance systems across human, animal, and environmental health sectors. Passionate about the One Health approach, I am dedicated to advancing integrated, evidence-based interventions that improve public health outcomes and foster resilient, collaborative health systems at sub-national and national levels.
