Short Bio
I am a mosquito researcher who is passionate about management measures for malaria as an infectious disease prominent in sub Saharan Africa.
I have a first degree in Zoology from the University of Ilorin where my research focus was on Evaluation of the use of Rapid Diagnostic Test kits in the diagnosis of chronic malaria. I further bagged a Masters degree also in Zoology (Entomology) where my research focus was on biological measures of managing Anopheles mosquitoes.
In addition, I've been privileged to work with a research team, Kwara State Sentinel (Global Fund) as a field Entomologist for the past 4 years, where we conducted entomological monitoring activities which include Mosquito larval and pupal collection from breeding sites, rearing, morphological identification of adult mosquito samples amongst others, thus providing support for the deployment of insecticide-treated nets in the state.
I'm also a passionate Educator. I teach phonics to children to aid early reading.
