Short Bio

I am a microbiologist and research scientist specializing in neglected tropical diseases, with a strong focus on infectious disease epidemiology and antimicrobial resistance. My work explores the interplay between bacterial pathogens and host responses, particularly in skin-related infections such as Buruli ulcer. Passionate about bridging the gap between research and public health impact, I am committed to advancing gender equity and inclusivity in One Health initiatives. Through mentorship and community engagement, I strive to empower underrepresented voices in science and policy. Joining the Women for One Health (WfOH) Network aligns with my dedication to fostering diversity and collaborative solutions in global health.
