Short Bio
I have pursued two Master's degrees focused on biosecurity - one in dairy cattle and another in swine. Currently a Ph.D. candidate, my research involves applying statistical models and machine learning for syndromic surveillance in swine farms to detect disease outbreaks. Alongside, I pursued a minor in statistics while expanding my knowledge in epidemiology.
My passion lies in epidemiology and preventive veterinary medicine, a field that allows me to tackle diverse challenges across species, diseases, and problem domains. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the advancement of epidemiological research and proactive veterinary strategies to make a meaningful impact in the field.
