Short Bio

I am a researcher at University of Nairobi, working within the One Health framework with a focus on zoonotic and infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), virology, and emerging infectious diseases. My work explores pathogen transmission dynamics at the human-animal-environment interface, integrating multidisciplinary approaches to understand, monitor, and mitigate health threats. I am particularly interested in disease surveillance, pathogen evolution, and evidence-based strategies that inform prevention and control of infectious diseases. Through research and collaboration, i aim to contribute to strengthening global health security, improving preparedness for emerging pathogens, and advancing sustainable solutions to combat antimicrobial resistance and other complex public health challenges affecting humans, animals, and ecosystems.
