Short Bio

Lisset Dumet is a Health Systems and Policy Ph.D. candidate at Oregon Health and Science University-Portland State University School of Public Health and a 2022-2023 Fogarty LAUNCH scholar. Lisset works as a graduate researcher supporting the implementation of an evidence-based intervention to control cysticercosis, one of the leading causes of epilepsy in endemic areas of northern Peru. Lisset is also working on her dissertation, which applies the One Health approach to study the national and regional policy processes and networks for implementing collaborative initiatives to address zoonotic diseases in low-resource settings.
