Ms. Krupali Patel is a lecturer at the Jindal School of Public Health (JSPH), O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU). She is in the process of receiving her PhD from the University of Bonn, Germany. She completed her Bachelor's in Nursing from Gujarat University and earned her Master’s in Public Health from the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar.
Previously, she taught at the Parul Institute of Public Health, Parul University, Vadodara, Gujarat. Ms. Patel has extensive experience as a core researcher with renowned organizations, including the Centre for Development Research, University of Bonn, Germany, the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar, and the Public Health Foundation of India. Her research has focused on areas such as Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH), One Health, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), and Public Health Innovations.
She is well-trained in conducting epidemiological studies, microbiological surveillance, data management, and advanced data analysis. Her teaching experience encompasses epidemiology, biostatistics, global health, communicable and non-communicable diseases, health systems, and public health laws, which she has taught to both master’s and bachelor’s students in public health. Additionally, Ms. Patel works as a public health and One Health consultant and has served as a master trainer, conducting numerous training sessions for trainers, healthcare workers, and cleaners on WaSH and One Health. Ms. Patel has published 24 research articles in national and international journals. She was awarded the AGHAKHAN scholarship during her master's program and received a fully funded doctoral student position at the University of Bonn, Germany. She also received the Best Faculty Award among the public health department faculty at Parul University.
