Short Bio
I am an Assistant Professor in One Health in the Departement of Pathology and Microbiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Montreal in Canada since September 2024.
I graduated from the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort in France in 2014. I then specialized in epidemiology by completing a Master of Public Health offered by the Institut Pasteur and Cnam in Paris, before completing a PhD at the University of Calgary, Canada. My project focused on biomarkers of physiological stress in muskoxen, linking traditional Inuit knowledge with Western science.
After a first postdoc at the University of California, Davis in the USA, I started working at the University of Montreal in September 2023, where I participated in the “Nunamit Takunnatut: Eyes on Wildlife/Community-led Wildlife Health Monitoring for a Resilient and Healthy Nunavik” project led by the Nunavik Research Center. I also worked as a veterinary epidemiologist in the Medical Intelligence Unit of the Centre d'épidémiologie et de santé publique des armées during the COVID-19 pandemic.
