Short Bio

I have always been fascinated by nature and biology, by how the smallest molecular parts in our cells function and interact with each other. Driven by my curiosity, I became a biological-technical assistant and gained in-depth knowledge of a wide range of laboratory methods and specialist areas, as well as experience in laboratory management and project management. After completing my training, I gained further insights into business processes and quality control at Euroimmun.
Driven by my inner curiosity and fascination, I continued my career path at the University of Lübeck and later at the University of Oulu, graduating with a master's degree in biochemistry with a focus on molecular medicine. After returning to Germany, I began a PhD at the Hannover Medical School when a new career opportunity arose.
Instead of completing my doctorate, I decided to take on a new role as Product Manager at altona Diagnostics. With my scientific background in molecular medicine and my understanding of molecular methods and laboratory processes, I now develop product concepts, support product development and accompany it throughout the entire product life cycle. I also took on responsibility for scientific marketing, which allows me to continue pursuing my fascination with science.
