I hold a PhD in ecosystem health studying One Welfare and have 19 years’ experience as a wildlife ecologist working for government and non-government institutes. In addition, I have graduate teaching qualifications. As a qualified teacher, I have experience in curriculum development and implementation including the design, coordination, application, and assessment of courses. As a research scientist, I have managed over $ 1 million USD of projects in the conservation of endangered species and advised multiple graduate, professional and undergraduate students. I have or currently serve on 3 university committees and perform extension to conservation and production groups across three continents.
