Short Bio
Graduated from St. George's University in Grenada in 2005, Dr. Lachance is still always eager to develop new skills and knowledge in animal health. She initially trained in companion animal medicine and surgery by completing an advanced internship in Arizona. Her atypical career did not stop there, she then became involved in emergency medicine and surgery in various major veterinary centers in Arizona, then in Quebec and even in Australia. She then worked in general practice while completing a master's degree in public health. These new skills led her to work in the field of wildlife disease surveillance and control for a few years. She has since offered her services as a contract veterinarian fo various clinics as well as to various shelters and organizations.
Now owner of the Dre Lachance Mobile Veterinary Service (SVML), she offers complementary medicine for pets and horses, Which focuses on therapeutic laser care and behavioural therapy. Its
mission Is to enrich the knowledge of its customers, in order to better equip them in the care and interactions with their animals.
