Short Bio
I am a veterinary epidemiologist working in the Global Surveillance Team, at the Animal Health Service of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). As a curious mind, my job in FAO allow me to discover more about the world every day, and it offers me the opportunity to be part of the efforts to monitor and control the spread of diseases at the animal-human interface.
I have a background in animal health data analysis, including social network analysis, and proficiency in the R programming language. I am always eager to learn more about data science and its applications in the field of veterinary epidemiology.
I am committed to using my knowledge to make a positive impact on global health, finding innovative solutions to tackle challenges in the interconnections between animal, human and environmental health.
