Short Bio

acts as a consultant and expert subject matter in accreditation and Biorisk management for different projects national and international organizations.(e.g Nebraska university Centre for global health and development(CGHD)college of Public health),(Emirates ministry of health, Kuwaiti ministry of health) leading Biorisk managment training programs, biosecurity training, writing policies and guidelines).She was the head of education , quality and biorisk management coordinator for the Ministry of Health – laboratory directorate /Central Public Health Laboratory. As a biorisk management coordinator,then she worked on many topics located on the Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) and International health regulation (IHR). As the Biosafety officer designated by the World Health Organization, approved by the MOH and designated for the MENA region represents Jordan biorisk management activities in WHO headquarter and its advisory group . She was nominated and Joined the International visitor leadership program (IVLP) for next generation leadership in global health security.She is a certified WHO trainer on all topics related to Biosafety and biosecurity (Biorisk management.) conducted more than 100 training workshops for three sectors(Human,animal,environment)achieving the one health concept.She is an international training experts certified from United kingdom –England and Wales. She was awarded with a “Preventing emerging and re-emerging infections” Mini Grant that allowed her and her colleagues the opportunity to develop National Biorisk Guidelines for the country of Jordan as well she established the national biorisk management with the involved stakeholder in the country. Also involves in BRM activities in MENA region nominated as the focal point for biorisk for Jordan in the BRM MENA network and (International and Mena twining projects in biosafety & bio security.
