Short Bio

I am a small mammals and ectoparasites specialist. My research focuses on the taxonomy of ectoparasites, their population ecology and host-parasite relationships. In addition, I am interested in investigating zoonotic pathogens transmitted by fleas and ticks. I have vast experience in capturing, identifying and handling live small mammals (rodents and insectivores) as well as collecting, identifying and curating their ectoparasites.
