Short Bio
Dr Diana Onyango is a seasoned veterinary doctor, and agriculture and rural development specialist with over 20 years of experience in animal health, One health, sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, food security and livelihoods across East Africa. Dr Onyango has a Bachelor's in Veterinary Medicine, and a Master's in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health, and is now working towards her PhD in Agriculture Resource Management at the University of Nairobi. As Head of the Technical Team at Farm Africa, she provides strategic leadership for projects spanning Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania, focusing on climate-smart agriculture, livestock production, and rangeland management. Dr Onyango’s expertise in project management, resource mobilization, and community-led development has driven impactful, cross-border initiatives benefiting smallholder farmers and pastoralist communities.
