**Damaris Felistus Mulwa** is a Kenyan researcher and academic with a strong background in statistics and actuarial sciences. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania, alongside a PhD graduate fellowship at the International Livestock Research Institute in Kenya. Damaris holds a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where she has also worked as a Tutorial Fellow.

Her professional experience includes roles as a research assistant, tutorial fellow, and project assistant, with key contributions to projects related to food security, nutrition, and climate-related disease outbreaks. She has published works on topics like food price index, climate modeling, and population estimation.

Damaris is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Biometric Society and the Kenya National Statistical Society, where she serves as a trustee. She is also committed to promoting women in science and mathematics, participating in networks like the Forum for African Women Educationalists and the Network of African Female Mathematics Research Promoters.
