Short Bio

Associate Professor in International eye health. Involved in training Masters in Public health for eye care and developed a wide range of open online courses to address equitable education in ophthalmology. I have a keen interest in Neglected tropical diseases such as Trachoma and Onchocerciasis. Recently retired from eye health academic work but remain active in understanding the role of climate change on educational programmes . Involved with the University of London as a Fellow for the Center for online and distance education (CODE) , which undertakes research and innovation in educational practices across the Bloomberg universities. I co-lead a special interest group in Climate change and educational programmes.
