Short Bio
I am an infectious disease epidemiologist with a research program focused on the eco-epidemiology, diagnosis, and surveillance of zoonotic and other emerging pathogens with significant transmission through the environment and mediated by living conditions and social determinants.
My projects involved extensive primary data collection in both community and hospital settings, development, validation, and implementation of laboratory methods, and the application of statistical and computational methods for epidemiologic interdisciplinary research. Throughout my career, I have been deeply engaged in global health, actively leading and participating in international research, training, and professional networking activities.
