Chloe Lee is a professional generalist with 6 years of experience spanning biosecurity research, business and non-profit consulting, and project management. Currently, she serves as a Senior Programme Associate at Global Food Partners, a Singapore-based consultancy that aids global food businesses in adopting high-welfare food-sourcing practices.
Chloe has been researching pull incentives policy for novel antimicrobials R&D with the Oxford Biosecurity Group (https://oxfordbiosecuritygroup.com/) and the Alliance for Reducing Microbial Resistance (ARMoR, https://www.armoramr.org/). Her research aims to understand how to incentivise the development of novel antimicrobials in Denmark.
In 2023, Chloe published "China's Take on Biosecurity: A Report on China’s View, Institutions, Processes, and Technology" (https://shorturl.at/mwNu1), the first resource tailored for an external audience on the management practices, policies, and technologies governing dual-use biotechnology in China. More recently, she created a one-pager on the critical role of indoor air quality in pandemic prevention for the National Poison Centre in Malaysia (https://shorturl.at/zjoxb).
In addition to her focus on public health and biosecurity, Chloe is passionate about exploring the intersection of biosecurity and farmed animal welfare, with the goal of reducing the risk of zoonotic spillovers.
