Short Bio

Carol Milambo–Mufana is an environmental scientist and public health professional with over 14 years of experience in One Health, global health security, and health systems strengthening. She has successfully managed projects in public health surveillance, emergency preparedness and response, and workforce development with organisations such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA), and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). Currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health with a focus on climate change and health at the University of Pretoria, she combines technical expertise in epidemiology, project management, and donor engagement with strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
