Short Bio

Dr. Aneela Javed is serving NUST since March 2013, holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Georg August University, Germany and Post-Docs from Harvard and Germany. She has also served as Visiting Assistant Professor at DUKE NUS Singapore and served as HoD Research as well. She was among the first cohort of “One-Health Fellow” of the “U.S. National Academy of Sciences” and awardee of the prestigious “Fulbright Research Fellowship”. She was twice awarded best researcher of the Year and Research Productivity Award by PCST in 2017. i. Dr Aneela was Nominated for “10-Member group of the UN Technology Facilitation Mechanism (TFM)” by NUST and then by Ministry of Science and Technology , Pakistan. She has served as member expert committee Higher education commission for Prioritizing Research relevant to Health and Health-related Sustainable Development Goals and project evaluator for Pakistan Innovation Fund - Health Sector 2023 as well as UKUK research and innovation projects. Dr Aneela has also served as Focal person for Ministry of Foreign Affair (MoFA) for HEC-MPI collaboration with Max Plank institute Germany and Faculty deputy Head (Health and wellbeing) as well as member Research & Innovation steering committee, NUST. Dr. Aneela was nominate for the “National Civil Awards” for her scientific efforts.
