Short Bio
Dr. Amarachi Ezeocha earned her DVM from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an MSc in Public Health from Sheffield Hallam University, England. She has completed internships with the Centre for Behavioural Science and Applied Psychology and the World Health Organization. She has a background in implementation research and tropical diseases, with expertise in integrated health approaches. With her experience as the Research and Community Engagement Officer at the One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI), Dr. Ezeocha is skilled in stakeholder engagement and research for policy advocacy. Driven by a passion for science communication and the One Health framework, she is dedicated to enhancing health outcomes through effective intersectoral collaboration and innovative communication strategies. She is currently with the Pacific Institute on Pathogens, Pandemics, and Society (PIPPS) to fulfil her aspiration to form impactful collaborations that drive innovations in One Health communication and policy globally.
